Project overview
The client represents a data processing center on the territory of the former Soviet Union delivering hosting solutions and technical care for cryptocurrency miners at its facilities. Their main activity is obtaining data about the equipment and its energy usage at the moment. To win the favor of customers the company made a decision to produce tokens connected with kWh energy giving the possibility of obtaining a discount.
In addition, there existed a necessity to create a personal account through which the miners would be able to keep track of ongoing consumption, have control over tokens and funds, and monitor invoices. Furthermore, ERC20 smart contracts running on the Ethereum platform had to be worked out that would perform each business-centric needs. A back office aimed at internal organization’s operations like storing data about customers, discount system and pays was required too.
Solution
The system for tracking external power consumption, Google Drive, Infura and Cryptocypher were integrated into the platform during the development process.
